Hello. Here is my latest study on my rode to trying to be looser and more painterly. After study paintings by Greg Manchess and trying to figure out how he approaches skintones for soft, feminine figures, I worked up this study of a young life model friend of mine. Things I like...face, hair and shoulder/chest area. Areas I need more work, hands, feet and knees. I keep working.

Excellent work, man. Keep it up! Nice hands, good face. The darkest shadow between her thighs under the skirt looks notably pale and the wrong color temperature, but that may be my monitor..
